First Half
The first half of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) matchup was full of back-and-forth action as each team tried to gain a sizable lead. From inside the paint, sophomore forward
Nate Arrington netted the first points for the Mustangs. The largest lead of the half came for Stevenson as graduate student guard Conner Walsh sank a jumper, giving the Mustangs a 30-24 advantage. Despite the lead, the Golden Wolves clawed back to end the half up by two, 34-32.

Second Half
Alvernia grew the lead to 10 points only 2:40 into the second half, thanks partly to four Mustang turnovers. The Mustangs did not have an answer for the Golden Wolves' offense, and with 8:22 remaining, the Alvernia lead grew to 23 points, 71-48.

Following the loss, Stevenson falls to 5-3 (0-2) as their losing streak grows to two. They are next set to visit Widener University on Wednesday, Dec. 7, with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. Alvernia improves to 5-2 (1-1) and next travel to York College on Wednesday, Dec. 14, beginning at 6 p.m.
