UTICA, N.Y.— Junior Ainsely King stopped 36 shots as the Stevenson women's ice hockey team (4-4, 2-2 UCHC) fell to Utica (5-1-1, 5-0-1 UCHC) in United Collegiate Hockey Conference play 8-0 Saturday afternoon.
 
Stevenson ripped seven shots in the opening period while Utica tallied 12. The Pioneers got on the board first with a goal from Madison Novotny at 5:09 followed by a goal from  Molly Pedone.
 
The mustangs mustered three shots on goal in the second period while Utica notched 24 in the frame. Maggie Rylott deposited the first goal at 1:43 in the second period followed by another at 9:32. Erica Sloan, Kelsey Elliott and Hannah Keating all added goals in the period, giving Utica a 0-7 lead after two.
 
Utica again held the shots margin in the third period, outshooting the Mustangs 8-3. The game's final tally came at 8:47 in the third off the stick of Rylott to cap her hat-trick performance.
