REISTERSTOWN, Md. – First year Izzy Lee found the back of the net with 24 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Stevenson women's ice hockey team (2-0-0) a 3-2 victory over Trine (0-2-0) Saturday afternoon at Reisterstown Sportsplex.

Stevenson came out swinging in the first period, ripping 15 shots in the frame but the Trine goalkeeper, Marie Dedert, stopped them all.

Stevenson continued the offensive effort, peppering Marie Dedert with eight more shots before finding the back of the net on a goal from Karly Aguire assisted by Izzi Lee and Cassie Campbell at 17:46 in the second period.

Hicks tallied the equalizer for Trine again, finding the back of the net midway through the third period. Stevenson continued a relentless effort ripping nine more shots before Karly Aguire drew a penalty with 30 seconds remaining in regulation.

The Mustangs would need just six seconds to deposit the game winner. Tea Ferrara won the faceoff back to Megan Swick who slid the puck to Izzi Lee. Lee ripped a shot past the Trine netminder, giving the Stevenson a 3-2 lead with just 24 seconds remaining.
