READING, Pa. – Stevenson men's soccer finished their regular fall 2022 season, dropping a match to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) opponent Alvernia on Saturday afternoon, 2-0.

Samuel Diaz each added a pair of shots to their record.
Slaby quickly earned two saves to kick off the match, but the Golden Wolves moved swiftly to follow, scoring the first of their goals in the seventh minute by first year forward Connor Kraycik. The Mustangs recorded six more shots, with five saved by Alvernia's junior goalkeeper Brendan Kerins.
The Golden Wolves created opportunity early, recording seven shots leading up to their second netter. Slaby earned two saves before a penalty kick goal from the Golden Wolves. The Mustangs pushed once more with two more attempts on the half but the score remained 2-0.
The Mustangs concluded regular season play with a 5-9-5 overall record, and 4-4 in the conference. The Golden Wolves improve to 11-3-5 overall and 4-2-2 in conference. The Mustangs clinched the fifth seed in the MAC Commonwealth tournament and will enter the postseason with a match at York College of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
