Scouting Stevenson 

  • Stevenson returned to the win column with a 24-10 victory over Lycoming. 
  • The Mustangs used a second half surge, outscoring the Warriors 24-7 with 24 unanswered points to seal the win.
  • Stevenson is 7-3 on Homecoming, including a 57-0 victory over FDU in the lone Homecoming meeting.
  • Ryan Sedgwick led the offense finishing going 24-33 with 216 passing yards and a touchdown. 
  • Marvin Manassa and Corey Jones-Pentz both made a key interception to keep the Mustangs in the game in the second half.
  • In a final stand the Mustang defense allowed only -12 yards in the last 10 minutes of the game to pull out the victory.

  • The Devils enjoyed a BYE in Week 7 following a win over Widener in Week 6.
  • FDU quarterback Ryon Thomas was named D3football.com Team of the week after the Devils win over Widener 30-17, recording a career-high 4 touchdown passes with 294 passing yards and 128 rushing.
  • Defensive lineman Kenny Hands earned MAC Defensive Player of the Week in week sixwith 8 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a blocked field goal in a 28-14 win over Misericordia.
  • Lomorris House was named MAC Special Teams Player of the Week in week six, snapping off a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and setting the record for the longest kickoff return.

  • The Mustangs have shutout the Devils twice in the ten-game series.
