Women's Soccer falls to Widener 1-0

Owings Mills, Md. – Stevenson women's soccer team drops conference game to Widener Saturday night, 1-0.

The Mustang's junior goalkeeper Courtney Wysokowski made four saves in loss. The Pride's lone goal was scored by forward Ciara Minkel.

The first half opened with both teams struggling to gain meaningful possession. Widener's Blackshire was dealt a yellow card early in the second half at 49:31. At 56:00 Stevenson first year Caitlin Bridgers came close to tying the game, but her shot hit the crossbar. After the Pride fired two shots wide, Bridgers tested Pride goalkeeper Samantha Coon again, who made the save.
