Owings Mills, Md. - The Stevenson women's soccer team dropped their game 2-0 to Hood College Wednesday night.

The Blazers controlled the pace in the first half, leading in shots nine to three. Hood tested Wysokowski three times before the Mustangs registered a shot on goal, coming off the foot of first year forward
Kamille Purcell at 37:10.
After halftime, Hood wasted no time with Nair scoring at 46:21, her second goal of the season, and assisted by Caroline Roberts. Both teams subsequently traded shots before the Blazers scored again, this time by House, her second of the season, off a corner kick from Nair at 53:51. For rest of the game, the Blazers locked down defensively allowing only two Mustang shots, both sailing wide.
With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 1-10-2 (0-3-1 in conference) and are next in action on Saturday, Oct. 15, as they continue the road swing at Widener University with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Blazers improve to 4-5-3 (2-1 in conference) and next travel to Lebanon Valley College on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1p.m .
