Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson men's lacrosse team erased a three-goal deficit in the third quarter, scoring four unanswered, including the game-winning goal in overtime by senior Jacob Tatum as the 11th-ranked Mustangs downed Eastern 10-9 in overtime Saturday evening at Mustang Stadium.
- On the eighth shot of the game for the Mustangs (4-0, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth), junior Shane Ford found the back of the net, scoring unassisted.
- After the Eagles (5-2, 3-2 MAC Commonwealth) won the ensuing face-off, the hosts forced a turnover and senior Lewis Anania ran all the way in from midfield, scoring just 49 seconds later.
- The visitors got on the board at the 8:11 mark before junior Connor Nelson scored on a wrap-around on the very next possession.
- Eastern earned the first man-up advantage of the game as Connor Killion converted 19 seconds into the one-minute advantage to get the Eagles within one.
- Senior John Harrington got on the board with an unassisted goal with the Eagles answering right back, making it a one-goal game with 2:50 remaining.
- Eastern goaltender Ethan Meyers made his sixth save of the quarter on a one-timer in front by Tatum with 37 seconds left.
- Down the other end, senior Marc Poust made a save in the closing seconds to preserve the hosts lead at the break.
- The Fanelli brothers connected for Eastern as Nicholas fed Kyle to tie the game before the Eagles took their first lead of the game as Killion found the back of the net.
- On the Mustangs first man-up opportunity, Tatum fed Ford in front for the score and to level the game at 5-5 with 6:31 remaining.
- With 48 seconds remaining in the quarter, Kyle Mulrane scored unassisted to give the Eagles a 6-5 lead.
- Eastern scored twice just 25 seconds apart as Killion found the back of the net twice, including his second with Poust out of the crease during a 10-man ride, pushing its lead to three.

- The Mustangs were shutout in the third quarter, marking the first time since 2019 when the team was shutout at Tufts in the fourth quarter of the NCAA Tournament.
