Box Score 2 OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson softball team swept league-leading Alvernia defeating the Golden Wolves in game one, 5-4, as senior Morghan Fulton homered at the bottom of the fifth inning. In game two, Stevenson defeated the Golden Wolves, 4-2. The Mustangs now lead in the MAC Commonwealth conference after sweeping both games from Alvernia on Sunday afternoon at Weinberg-Fine Stadium. The Mustangs honored seven seniors at the conclusion of game two, Morgan Thayer, Olivia Heckel, Haley Monahan, Kayla Briles, Alexandra DiGrande, Emilee Strickland, and Fulton.

- Alvernia (13-5, 13-5 MACC) got one run at the top of the first when they had two outs and Alyssa Acker singled to the right field for Paige Paciolla to score, 1-0.
- The Golden Wolves extended their lead at the top of the third when Maggie Loomis bunted and advanced to first on a throwing error for Sarah Reinart to score an unearned run, 2-0.
- Later at the top of the third and with two outs, Kersten Koeing doubled to the right field for Loomis to score for Alvernia, 3-0.
- Stevenson (16-6, 12-4 MACC) got two on the board at the bottom of the fourth, with two outs, Alex DiGrande doubled to center field for a Megan Hamp scored run. With Digrande on third after advancing on a wild pitch, McKenzie Tobler singled down the left field line for Digrande to score.
- At the top of the fifth, Paciolla extended the Golden Wolves lead back by two as she singled to the left field for Reinert to score.
- Fulton tied the game at the bottom of the fifth inning when she homered to left field for Briles to score.
- The Mustangs won the first game, 5-4, at the bottom of the eighth as Briles reached first on a throwing error and Fangman advancing to second for a Mustang run.

- Alvernia scored it's first run of the game at the top of the first inning when Acker singled to center field for a Reinert run.
- The Mustangs took the lead with Briles and Jordan Fangman on bases when Fulton doubled to right center. Later with one out at the bottom of the first inning, Megan Hamp grounded out to second base for a Fulton run, 3-1.
- Strickland extended the lead by three, 4-1, for the Mustangs when Hamp singled up the middle at the bottom of the sixth.
- Koeing closed out scoring for Alvernia as she scored as Devan Hudson reached first on field error.
- The Mustangs totaled eight RBI's on the day, Fulton recorded four, Hamp had two, while McKenzie Tobler and Alex Digrande each had one.
- Briles recorded two stolen bases in game two.
- Stevenson totaled 13 hits.
- Stevenson returns on action on Saturday, April 17 for a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader versus Widener set for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Weinberg-Fine Stadium
- The Mustangs travel to Widener on Sunday, April 18 for a 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. doubleheader.
