Box Score HOBOKEN, N.J. - Host Stevens Institute of Technology downed No. 15 Stevenson University 3-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference men's volleyball Wednesday evening at Canavan Arena. Set scores were 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 25-23.
- Stevenson (9-2, 9-2 MAC) trailed 9-6 early but scored four straight points to take a 10-9 lead on a Logan Smiley kill.
- After four ties, the Ducks (6-3, 6-3 MAC) used a 7-2 run to build a 20-15 lead.
- The Mustangs cut the lead to four three times, but a Stevens service ace closed out the set.
- After three early ties, the Ducks built an 11-7 lead.
- Leading 13-10, Stevens scored seven of the next nine points to open up a 20-13 advantage.
- An Aidan O'Brien kill followed by a Duck setting error cut the lead to 20-15, but the Mustangs got no closer the rest of the set.
- Stevenson never trailed in the third set and opened up a 10-6 lead.
- The Mustangs gradually increased their lead and went up nine, 18-9, on a block by Aleks Melbardis and O'Brien.
