Box Score REISTERSTOWN, Md. -- Playing from behind most of the afternoon, Stevenson men's hockey pressed forward late in a 5-3 loss to Manhattanville in UCHC play on Friday.
Stevenson (3-2-1, 2-2 UCHC) surrendered an early goal on the penalty kill, rallying to tie the score three times and holding the edge in shots, before Manhattanville (4-2, 4-1 UCHC) pulled away in the third. Brendan Rylott paced the Mustangs with a goal and assist, while Marko Sturma posted 15 saves in his first start of the season.
- Following an early boarding penalty on the Mustangs, Manhattanville cashed in as Raymond Speerbrecker found the back of the net to place the visitors ahead, 1-0.
- Mac Lowry snapped home the equalizer less than one minute later, converting the goal off assists from Evan Beers and Ryan Patrick.
