OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The top-seeded Stevenson women's lacrosse team was held to just five goals as second-seeded Lebanon Valley won its first MAC Commonwealth title with a 10-5 victory behind eight saves from the tournament most valuable player, Leah Franklin, Saturday afternoon at Mustang Stadium.

• The Dutchmen (11-7) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening 3:54, including back-to-back goals by Makenzie Kelley just 44 seconds apart.
• Freshman Hannah Huff got the Mustangs (15-5) on the board at the 20:58 mark with an unassisted tally.
• The visitors answered with a pair of goal to push its lead to 5-1 before the hosts answered with a goal by sophomore Lindsay Seipp with 9:27 remaining on an assist from freshman Caroline Murphy.
• Both teams were 0-for-2 on free-position shots in the half while Lebanon Valley won six of the eight draw controls.

• The Dutchmen opened the half with a pair of goals to extend their lead to 7-2.
• Stevenson responded with back-to-back goals by senior Dana Stevens and junior Carly Bowes to get within three at the 11:00 mark.
• A free-position goal by Kelley pushed the Lebanon Valley lead back to four before the visitors netted a pair of empty net goals as the Mustangs were doubling.
• Murphy scored a late goal on an assist from Stevens.

• Stevenson outshot Lebanon Valley, 21-20, including 12-7 in the second half.
• The Dutchmen, who posted their third win in the last four contests over the Mustangs, won 11 of the 17 draw controls.
• The Mustangs, who had their 12 -game winning streak snapped, fall to 1-5 in MAC Commonwealth title games, including 0-2 at home.
• Junior Sarah Roerty finished with six ground balls to tie the school record with 166 in her career. She also totaled three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
• Senior Gabby DiGello recorded three caused turnovers while freshman Kirsten Foster had three ground balls an two caused turnovers.
• Junior Mack Ferguson finished with seven saves.
