CHESTER, Pa. - Led by sophomore Jacob Tatum's five goals and four by freshman Cam Leydig, the Stevenson University men's lacrosse team doubled up Widener University 18-9 in a MAC Commonwealth contest Friday night at Quick Stadium.

• Stevenson (7-6, 5-0 MAC Commonwealth) got on the board just over a minute in on an unassisted goal by JT Thelen.
• The Mustangs extended their lead to 4-0 on goals by Josh Brannan (13:10), Ryan Coleman (10:42) and Tatum (8:58).
• Widener (4-9, 3-2 MAC Commonwealth) got on the board on a Kenneth Watts goal with 8:44 left in the opening frame.
• Just eight seconds later, Lewis Anania scored to give the Mustangs a 5-1 lead.
• Gray McKee scored at exactly 7:30 for Stevenson's sixth goal.
• Leydig notched back-to-back goals at 4:40 and 1:38.
• The Pride scored with 10 seconds left to make it 8-2 after one.

• Ethan Christensen became Stevenson's eighth different goal scorer 2:15 into the second to make it a 9-2 game.
• After Widener scored with just under 12 minutes left in the half, Will Smith converted a man-up opportunity on a feed from Christensen.
• Coleman recorded his second goal of the game just under the six-minute mark.
• The Pride scored twice 1:05 apart to pull within 11-6 with 4:19 left.
• Tatum scored Stevenson's second man-up goal of the quarter with 2:28 on the clock.
• The guests led 12-6 at intermission.

• Tatum scored the first of his three goals in the third 49 seconds in.
• Brannan registered his second goal of the game at the 10:45 mark.
• Tatum closed out the frame with goals nine seconds apart, making it a 16-8 game with 1:19 to go.

• Leydig had both Mustang goals in the period, scoring at 10:59 and again with 19 seconds left.
• John Dunbar had the lone Widener goal of the final frame with 6:13 on the clock.

• Tatum paced Stevenson with five goals and an assist, while Leydig scored four times.
• Brannan registered two goals and an assist, with Coleman scoring twice.
• Christensen recorded a goal and five assists.
• Freshmen finished with eight of Stevenson's 18 goals (Leydig, Brannan, Coleman).
• Seth Thornton finished 10-18 on faceoffs and had eight ground balls.
• Dylan Harris caused five Widener turnovers and picked up three ground balls.
• Thelen and Jimmie Case each had two caused turnovers.
• Marc Poust went the distance in goal and made seven saves.
• Stevenson outshot the Pride 49-20.
• The Mustangs held Widener to 0-3 on man-up chances while going 2-5 in man-up situations.
• Both teams won 15 faceoffs.
• Stevenson extended its win streak to six games.
