OWINGS MILLS, Md. - No. 19 Stevenson University outscored second-ranked Salisbury 5-2 in the fourth quarter, but the Sea Gulls got goals from eight different scorers as it posted a 14-9 win Saturday night in non-conference men's lacrosse at Mustang Stadium.

• Stevenson (1-3) took a 1-0 lead 2:35 into the game on freshman Cam Leydig's first collegiate goal.
• Salisbury (6-0) got goals at 5:38 and 1:53 to take a 2-1 lead.
• Will Smith scored his first goal of the game with 1:12 left in the quarter to tie things 2-2.
• The Sea Gulls held a slim 9-8 shot advantage in the opening frame.

• Salisbury got a goal by Cross Ferrara 47 seconds into the period to take a 3-2 lead.
• After a Sea Gull man-up goal at the 10:05 mark, Smith cashed in on a man-up opportunity at the 6:26 mark to pull the Mustangs within 4-3.
• Ferrara scored two goals in a span of 1:44 to put the guests on top 6-3 with 1:03 before intermission.
• Salisbury took that three-goal advantage into the locker room.

• Salisbury scored the first four goals of the second half to extend its lead to 10-3 with 5:27 left in the third.
• Jacob Tatum scored Stevenson's second man-up goal of the game at the 4:26 mark for the hosts' first goal of the third.
• The Sea Gulls scored the final two goals of the period and took a 12-4 lead into the final frame.
