No. 5 York Shuts Down No. 20 Stevenson

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Fifth-ranked York (Pa.) limited 20th-ranked Stevenson to two goals in each half as it posted a 12-4 non-conference men's lacrosse victory in the second round of the Mustang Classic Saturday night at Mustang Stadium.

  • Stevenson (1-5) took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Lewis Anania at the 10:23 mark.
  • Eric Ranck tied the game for York (7-1) 59 seconds later.
  • The Spartans took a 2-1 lead with 1:17 to play in the quarter.
