READING, Pa.- Stevenson men's tennis sophomore Peter Appiah Jr. and junior Mike Richmond led the Mustangs (3-9, 2-1) to their second MAC Commonwealth win of the year in a 5-4 triumph over host Albright.
Appiah and Richmond started the day off with an 8-6 victory in No. 3 doubles. The tandem has won two of its three doubles matches this spring.
Appiah would later pick up his second singles win of the season in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0. Richmond won his No. 4 singles match by a 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 score.
Senior Bryan Gieselman and junior Wornden Ly picked up their eighth No. 1 doubles victory, 8-6.
In No. 6 singles, senior Kevin Slujtner won the deciding match for the Mustangs in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.
Stevenson travels to Goucher for a non-conference matchup on Sunday, April 9 at 4:00 pm.
