SALISBURY, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell in its road match against Salisbury by a 9-0 score. In No. 1 singles, senior Bryan Gieselman dropped a hard-fought match to Salisbury's Garrett Malave, 6-3, 7-5.
Earlier in the day, Gieselman and junior Wornden Ly picked up three games in No. 1 doubles, but would eventually lose the match, 8-3.
Ly suffered a 6-3, 6-0 setback in No. 2 singles, while sophomore Peter Appiah Jr. lost his No. 3 singles match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.
Senior Tony Beres won four games in the first set of his No. 6 singles match, but would fall by a 6-4, 6-1 score.
The Mustangs (0-4) compete in their first of home match of the spring on Friday, March 10 at 3:00 pm against Penn State Abington.
