BEL AIR, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team dropped its second non-conference match in a row to host Harford Community College, 9-0.
Junior Bryan Gieselman and senior Peter Hoblitzell picked up four games in their No. 1 singles match, but would fall 8-4. With the loss, the duo fell to 2-2 on the spring season.
Gieselman fell in his No. 1 singles match by a 6-2, 6-4 score, which dropped his spring season record to 2-2.
Hoblitzell lost his No. 2 singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.
Freshmen Zach Borgerding and Peter Appiah Jr. lost a hard-fought match in No. 3 doubles, 8-6.
Troy Derrick picked up three wins in his 6-3, 6-0 setback in No. 4 singles.
The Mustangs (2-4) compete next in a non-conference road match against Goucher on Saturday, March 26 at 9:00 am.
