SALISBURY, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell in their non-conference road match to regionally-ranked Salisbury, 9-0. Junior Bryan Gieselman and Troy Derrick picked up two games in their No. 1 doubles match, but would up losing the match 8-2.
Derrick won four games in the opening set of his No. 2 singles match, but eventually dropped the match, 6-4, 6-0.
Freshman Douglas Vaughn took two games in the first set and three in the second of his No. 6 singles defeat, while Peter Appiah Jr. fell in his singles match 6-1, 6-1.
Gieselman and senior Conrad Ellis dropped their singles matches in straight sets.
The Mustangs compete next against Rutgers-Camden in a non-conference home match on Sunday, March 13 at 12:00 pm.
