Stevenson and Messiah will meet in the conference final for the fifth straight season at 5:00 Saturday at Owings Mills Gymnasium, with the Mustangs winning all four title tilts to date.

Schwartz narrowly missed her fourth-straight double-double. Junior Lauren Weaver finished with nine kills, while sophomore Moriah Savage notched eight kills. Freshman Victoria Prokic added seven kills and a team-high four blocks.

Trailing 14-12 in the first set, Stevenson took control by outscoring the Pride 13-4 the rest of the way. Back-to-back Schwartz kills followed by a Widener setting error gave the hosts a 15-14 lead, before a Dorman kill tied the set 15-15. From there, the Mustangs reeled off six straight points capped by a Prokic kill to build a 21-15 lead. A block by Brooks and senior Kelsey Stave closed out the frame and gave Stevenson a 1-0 advantage.
In the second set, five straight Stevenson points turned a 7-6 deficit into an 11-7 lead following a Widener attack error. The Pride halved that lead before a 6-0 spurt by the Mustangs put the set out of reach at 17-9.
Stevenson never trailed in the third set and opened up a 10-4 lead following a Schwartz service ace. Widener pulled within four twice, the last time at 12-8, but from there, four straight Mustang points capped by a Schwartz kill made it 16-8 and put the match out of reach.
The Mustangs hit .288 for the match, including .333 in the second set, while Widener hit .061. Stevenson also had just five service errors, tied for its third-lowest total of the season.
