Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson men's lacrosse junior Tim Bulmer netted the first two goals of his career, highlighting 20 different scorers as the No. 7 Mustangs posted a 25-4 Commonwealth Conference victory over Lebanon Valley Saturday night at Mustang Stadium.
Stevenson (11-4, 6-0 MAC) extended its season-long winning streak to five while scoring at least 20 goals for the fourth time in the last five games.
The Mustangs scored the game's first 13 goals in under 22 minutes, the last three coming just 12 seconds apart, capped by back-to-back goals from junior Stephen Banick off assists from senior Justin Buonomo.
Banick scored all five of his goals during Stevenson's 13-0 run to start the game and his fourth of the night at 8:21 of the second was the 100th of his career, making him the second player this season and just the eighth all-time to score 100 goals at Stevenson.
Just last week, senior Billy Burgoyne scored his 100th career goal in a 16-6 win over York (Pa.) on April 10.
Koty Keefer, who finished with three of Lebanon Valley's four tallies, got the Dutchmen (8-6, 4-3 MAC) on the board with 5:43 remaining in the second before junior Pat Candon responded just 40 seconds later to start a 5-0 Mustang run that pushed their lead to 18-1 after three.
Lebanon Valley scored three goals in the fourth, but Stevenson added seven more, including the first two from Bulmer and a second from sophomore Billy Able.
Freshman Jonathan Thelen totaled three assists in the quarter while junior Matt Stango added two.
The Mustangs held a 74-12 margin in shots, including 58-6 through the first three quarters. They also won 29-of-33 faceoffs and totaled 70 ground balls.
Junior Connor Skeen and senior Kevin Cain each made one save in 30 minutes while senior Callum Robinson finished with four caused turnovers and four ground balls.
Eric Wilcoxson got the start for the Dutchmen and made six saves, but was pulled after surrendering 11 goals in just under 22 minutes. Sam Peters made 11 sasves and allowed 14 goals over the final 38:27.
Stevenson hosts Senior Night on Tuesday, April 21 when it welcomes Lycoming to Mustang Stadium for a 7:00 p.m., faceoff. The Mustangs' 16 seniors will be honored in pregame ceremonies around 6:50 p.m.
