Men's Tennis Sweeps Doubles Matches, Defeat Arcadia 7-2

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team had four players win both their singles and doubles matches Wednesday afternoon en route to its second Freedom Conference victory this season with a 7-2 win over Arcadia at Weiss Courts.

Junior James Bishoff, sophomores Conrad Ellis and Peter Hoblitzell and freshman Bryan Gieselman all posted singles victories before all three doubles teams posted victories.

At No. 1 doubles, Bishoff teamed up with sophomore Robbie Baker for the fifth time this season to record their fourth win, conceding just three games. In other doubles action, Gieselman and Ellis recorded their fifth win this season as partners, while Hoblitzell and senior Anthony Carle picked up their third win at No. 3 doubles. 

Gieselman and Hoblitzell posted straight set victories at No. 2 and No. 6 singles, respectively while Ellis and Bishoff defeated their opponents in three.

The Mustangs return to action on Saturday, April 12 when they host a Freedom Conference contest versus Wilkes beginning at 1:00 p.m.
