Box Score 2 LANCASTER, Pa. - Stevenson men's volleyball junior Kyle Wisner and sophomore Kyle Pottieger each posted 14 kills as the No. 15 Mustangs defeated Hannibal-LaGrange 25-17, 25-23, 18-25, 25-20 and Lancaster Bible 25-17, 27-25, 14-25, 25-20 Wednesday at the Horst Athletic Center.
Stevenson (12-5) continues to be unbeaten on the road, improving its record to 7-0 this season.
In the first-ever meeting against Hannibal-LaGrange, the Mustangs were led by Pottieger who had 14 kills while Wisner added 11. Senior Jon Martin totaled nine kills while also adding a season-high 15 digs. He now has 939 digs for his career.
Junior Scott Morantz had nine digs against the Trojans (4-16) while junior David Moler added 42 assists and eight digs.
Against Lancaster Bible, Stevenson posted its 14th-straight win against the Chargers (2-13). Junior Wesley Richardson and freshman Michael Fehrs led the Mustangs with nine kills each. Senior Eddy Klepper and freshman Nathan Ellis each added six.
Sophomore Robert Wingert totaled 24 assists, three kills and seven digs while Morantz added 11 digs.
Stevenson returns to action on Friday, March 7 in a CVC contest versus No. 2 Juniata, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
