Box Score HARRISONBURG, Va. - Stevenson men's volleyball junior Jon Martin (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) had 11 kills, 18 digs and five total blocks while sophomore Kyle Wisner (York, Pa./Central York) posted 11 kills and eight total blocks to lead the No. 9 Mustangs to a 16-25, 23-25, 25-20, 28-26, 15-12 come-from-behind victory over Eastern Mennonite Wednesday at Yoder Arena.
Stevenson (19-10, 4-1 CVC) improved to 3-4 in five-set matches this season with two of those wins coming against Eastern Mennonite, including a 25-21, 25-19, 22-25, 26-28, 15-13 win at home on March 12.
Junior Austin Jacoby (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) had a match-high 17 kills with two block assists while freshman Kyle Pottieger (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) had 10 kills and five total blocks. Sophomore David Moler (York, Pa./Central York) finished with 47 assists, 16 digs, six kills and two service aces.
The Royals (13-11, 1-4 CVC) were led by Chris Moise who totaled 17 kills and 18 digs, both match-highs. Jon Barry had a career-high 59 assists.
Stevenson travels to Langhorne, Pennsylvania for the second and final CVC Challenge Weekend hosted by Cairn University. The Mustangs face No. 8 Juniata on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
The Eagles, who swept Thiel on Wednesday to avenge their loss from a week ago, are tied with the Tomcats as both are just one game behind Stevenson in the CVC East Division.
