ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Stevenson (5-8, 2-5 CAC) senior
Shawn Kelley (Weltersbach, Germany/Ramstein American) posted the most winning games for the Mustangs as they dropped a CAC contest at St. Mary's (Md.), 0-9.
Kelley was the only Mustang to post at least five games in one set. Falling 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, Kelley fell to St. Mary's Thomas Hoesman. Kelley also teamed up with senior Ted Cooke (Snow Hill, Md./Snow Hill), but fell to Andrew Gear and Arvin Wong at No. 1 doubles, 1-8.
Aside from Kelley, the only other player to post seven games in their singles matchup came from sophomore Anthony Carle (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin). Carle fell to Jay Guzzone in straight sets at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 6-4.
The Mustangs resume action on Thursday where they travel to Lebanon Valley for a nonconference matchup.
