OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Mary Washington scored the game's final three goals in overtime, including the game-winner by Lauren Callison with 1:42 remaining in the second extra period as the Eagles rallied for a 16-15 double overtime victory over Stevenson Tuesday in the semifinals of the CAC Women's Lacrosse Championship at Caves Athletics Complex.

The loss snapped a season-best four-game winning streak for the Mustangs (10-6) who were making their fourth consecutive appearance in the conference semifinals and the first at home after earning the No. 2 seed.

The goal was Callison's first of the game and 52nd of the season and came off a free-position attempt by Allie Kimmelman who found Callison cutting to the far post for her second game-winning goal of the season.

Callison's goal capped a three-goal run for Mary Washington (13-6) who trailed 15-13 with 1:56 left in the first overtime. Catherine Kennedy netted her sixth goal of the game and 75th of the season to start the rally with 1:04 to play before Keller Torrey scored her first of the contest on a feed from Kennedy with only 20 seconds remaining.

The trio of Kennedy, Kimmelman and Torrey accounted for 18 points and 10 of the Eagles' 16 goals.

After the Mustangs scored the final two goals of the first half in the last 40 seconds to take a 7-5 halftime lead, Mary Washington outscored Stevenson 11-8 over the final three periods, rallying from 9-5 second half deficit with a 6-2 run, including five consecutive goals to tie the game at 11-11 with 11:26 remaining.

Senior Megan Weiss (Odenton/Seton) scored four of the Mustangs' first nine goals to help them build their four-goal advantage while senior Lisa Baker (Westminster/Westminster) and freshman Mandy Marston (Baltimore/Institute of Notre Dame) each scored twice.

Weiss also scored with 1:56 to play in the first overtime to put Stevenson in front 15-13 before Kennedy and Torrey scored to force the second, sudden victory period.

Weiss finished with a season-high five goals, one shy of her career-high set in an 18-5 win over Lynchburg on Apr. 4, 2009. She leads the team in goals for the second-straight season with 41.

Meanwhile, Baker finished with six points, including four goals and now has 147 for her career, one short of former teammate, Lauren Zegowitz '10 for second on the school's single season list. Tuesday also marked Baker's 67th career game, tying Zegowitz's career record.

Junior Jenny Schroeder (Severna Park/Seton Keough) finished with 15 saves, two shy of her season and career-high, but the Mustangs were limited by 21 turnovers compared to just 12 for the Eagles.

Danni Guigli had 12 saves for Mary Washington.

Stevenson wraps up the 2011 regular season at home next Thursday, April 28 when it hosts No. 17 Elizabethtown at 4:00 p.m.
