The Hawks (18-8) entered the game having won nine of their last 11 with their only two losses coming to Baruch who leads the team by two games in the NECVA CUNYAC Division and is ranked No. 1 in the latest NECVA Top 10 Poll.

Lloyd finished with a .415 hitting percentage and best his previous career-high of 18 set in a 3-2 win over CCNY on Mar. 15, 2008 when he also added a career-high 21 digs. Earlier this season, he totaled 17 kills and 19 digs, both season-highs, in a 3-1 win at home against Lancaster Bible on January 23.

Lloyd also led the team with nine digs, sharing the top honor with freshman Kyle Diller (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg)

The game featured 29 ties and 12 lead changes, including 11 and four in the second set where the Mustangs led 26-22 before the Hawks scored eight of the final 10 points to edge out a 30-28 victory.

Stevenson held a five-point advantage in the third set 20-15 before Hunter rallied to within two, 26-24. However, led by two kills from sophomore Jason Matkowski (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent), one from Lloyd and an ace from Massimini, the Mustangs pulled out the two-point victory, 30-28.

The fourth set featured eight ties and four lead changes with the last tie coming at 19-19 before the Hawks rolled off five consecutive points to take a 24-19 advantage en route to the 30-27 clinching victory.

Massimini's 53 assists were seven shy of his career-high set in a 3-2 victory over New Jersey City on Apr. 11, 2009.

Freshman Christian Woznicki (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) tied a career-high with 12 kills while Matkowski finished with 10. Freshman Robert Kryger (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) hit .562 with nine kills.
