Keuka, NY.- The Mustangs stampeded Keuka
College for a NEAC Conference win of 84-71. Cilk
McSweeney (Ft. Lauderdale, FL / Dillard) quickly began the
scoring for the Mustangs, not allowing Keuka to take the lead even
once throughout the entire game. At the end of the first
half, the Mustangs were ahead 45-32.
In the second half, the Mustangs extended the gap to 21 points,
but Keuka managed to bring the score to within 13 points by the
end. Cilk McSweeney tallied 24 points and
six rebounds. Kerry Dugan (Sparks, MD /
Hereford) grabbed 12 points and eight rebounds, and Steven
Segears (Lanham, MD / St. Johns College HS) added 10
points and 12 rebounds.
The Mustangs improve to 10-7 (7-2). They return to the
court on Sunday, January 28 for a 4:00 p.m. game at Cazenovia.
