Stevenson, MD.- The Mustangs hosted NEAC
opponent Keystone in today's match.
After exchanging the lead multiple times, freshman
Dwayne Allen (Baltimore, MD / St. Frances Academy)
completed a lay-up to tie the game and then sank his free-throw,
27-26. Jason Lambert (Bloomfield, CT /
Kingswood Oxford) secured the lead with two successive
three-pointers. The half ended in favor of the Mustangs,
37-30.
The Mustangs continued to extend their lead in the second half
for a win of 81-64. Steven Segears (Lanham,
MD / St. Johns College HS) led the team with 23 points, and
Cilk McSweeney (Ft. Lauderdale, FL / Dillard)
added 15 points and 12 rebounds. Leading the Keystone Giants
was Spencer Lunger with 17 points.
This win improves the overall record to 6-7 and NEAC record to
3-2. The Mustangs travel to PSU-Berks on Tuesday, January 16
for an 8 p.m. game.
