Clarks Summit, PA- The Mustangs traveled to
Baptist Bible for a NEAC Conference game. The Baptist Bible
Defenders held the lead at the end of the first half, 36-26.
The Mustangs were unable to close the gap, resulting in the loss of
81-69.
Top scorer of the game was Baptist Bible's Ken Clarke with 27
points, seven rebounds, and four assists. The Mustangs had
two double-doubles. Cilk McSweeney
(Randallstown, MD / Dillard) had 25 points, 11 rebounds, and one
steal along with Steven Segears (Lanham, MD/St.
Johns College HS) with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Segears also reached a career milestone of 1,000 points during
the second half off of two free-throws.
Villa Julie now has an overall record of 4-3 and NEAC record of
2-1. The Mustangs return to the court on December 18 at
Catholic.
