Baltimore, MD.- The Mustangs crushed the Gators in a battle of Baltimore 7-2.  Villa wasted little time getting on the board as Leigh Geary (Elkton, MD/Elkton) netted a goal off a pass from Michelle Muir (Princess Anne, MD/Washington) on a penalty corner in the second minute of the game.  In the 20th minute, Meghan Melvin (Elkton, MD/Elkton) scored the final goal of the half.  Melvin's goal was assisted by Catherine Connelly (Fallston, MD/Fallston).  Melvin struck again in the 38th minute to score what would wind up being the game-winner off a double-assist by Geary and Muir.  Three minutes later Muir beat CND's goalie to make the score 4-0.  Notre Dame then made it interesting by scoring back-to-back goals to make the score 4-2.  Melvin then shut the door with a goal in the 60th minute, her third of the game.  Geary tallied her third assist of the game on Melvin's goal.  Geary added an unassisted goal from a penalty corner to make the score 6-2.  Margaret Wolfe (Parkville, MD/Perry Hall) ended the scoring for the game to make the final score 7-2.  Muir chipped in with her third assist of the game on the final goal.

The Mustangs are back in action on Saturday as the play host to Catholic University.
