Tagye returns for his second season as the head coach atStevenson in 2014.

In his first season, Tagye led the Mustangs to their first-evernational ranking, with the team finishing the season ranked at No.9. Stevenson defeated two top-5 teams, including a sweep of thenNo. 2 Carthage on February 9, 2013.

The Mustangs won their second ECAC Division III South Title inthe past three years, while tying the school record for wins with26.

Tagye spent five years as an assistant coach at his alma materfrom 2008-12, including the last four as the lead assistant. Duringthat time, the Mustangs posted a 77-48 record while boasting eightall-conference selections and a NECVA Rookie of the Year. The teamalso received votes in the AVCA Division III Men's Coaches Top 15Poll for the first time in program history on March 27, 2012.

Tagye graduated from Stevenson in 2007 with a bachelor ofscience degree in business administration. He was a two-time memberof the Dean's List and graduated with a 3.42 grade pointaverage.

Tagye was a starting middle on the first Stevenson team toqualify for the NECVA championship in 2006 before serving as theteam's starting setter in 2007. That year, he led the team with 929assists and 182 digs while earning All-NEAC Second Team honors. Hewas also named NEAC Player of the Week on Feb. 27, 2007.

Prior to coming to Stevenson, Tagye spent two years at SaintJoseph's University in Philadelphia where he played two seasons onthe men's volleyball club team and was chosen as the club'spresident.

In addition to his coaching duties at Stevenson, Tagye alsoworks as a benefits operations manager at Aon Hewitt in HuntValley. From January 2008 to March 2012, he worked as a retirementplan coordinator with T. Rowe Price where he was a two-timeAssociate of the Quarter recipient.

Tagye and his wife Samantha, a 2008 graduate of Stevenson with adegree in paralegal studies, reside in Owings Mills. Sam was aformer captain and head coach of the Stevenson dance team.
