Geoff Hebert

Hebert joins the coaching staff for his first season as anassistant coach at Stevenson in 2011 following a stellar playingcareer in goal for the Mustangs. It is in this area that he willassist the team's defense.

One of the greatest goalies in the school's history, Hebert wasinstrumental in the team's No. 1 final ranking and back-to-backappearances in the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Men'sLacrosse Championship in 2009 and 2010.

Hebert totaled a 28-3 record as a two-year starter, including amark of 14-3 against nationally-ranked teams and finished fourth inschool history with 374 saves.

As a senior in 2010, Hebert earned his first All-America andAll-CAC selection after ranking third all-time with a 7.97 goalsagainst average and sixth with 175 saves.

After missing eight games due to a broken hand suffered in theteam's 12-9 victory at No. 18 Lynchburg, he totaled 13 saves inleading the Mustangs to their first CAC championship with a 10-6win at No. 1 Salisbury in his second game back.

Hebert totaled 174 saves as a junior, the seventh-most in schoolhistory, while posting a 16-2 record and ranking second with a 7.07goals against average. He won his first 13 career starts beforesuffering his first loss in a 13-5 decision to No. 10 Salisbury onApril 19.

Hebert is a business administration major at Stevenson andgraduate of Dulaney High School where he won a state championshipin 2005.
