A standout for the Mustangs from 2002-06, Fitzgerald entershis second season as a graduate assistant for the 2007-08season. He will continue his role in working with the team'spost players as well as in recruiting.

Fitzgerald holds eight school records including and is theprogram's career scoring and rebounding leader with 2,103 pointsand 1,496 rebounds. He was the first All-Americanin school history and led Division III in rebounding as ajunior and senior.

Fitzgerald was also a four-time all-regionselection, part of the program's first NCAA Tournament team in2006 and MVP of the inaugural Pride of MarylandTournament in 2005.

A graduate of Polytechnic High School, Fitzgerald isworking on a master's degree in business managementtechnology.
