Zachary Rutsch enters his first year on the Mustangs coaching staff, coming the 2026-27 year.

Rutsch is returning to the program where he was a four-year student-athlete and kicker from 2020-23. As a former Mustang, Rutsch brings firsthand experience as a student-athlete, along with leadership, communication and mentoring skills to the program.

Rutsch graduated from Stevenson in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, completing tracks in Management and Finance with minors in Marketing and History. He graduated with a 3.87 GPA and was a seven-time Dean’s List honoree, Leadership Scholar and Dell Family Scholarship recipient. He was also the recipient of the John Mitchell Award, Stevenson’s Graduating Senior Award for unselfish service to the community.

While at Stevenson, Rutsch also served as a Senior Ambassador, where he led campus tours, trained more than 50 new ambassadors and represented the University at recruitment and large-scale events.

Professionally, Rutsch currently serves as an Associate Sales Consultant with T. Rowe Price. Previously, he worked as an Account Manager with LandCare and as a Uniform Sales Representative with Cintas Corporation, where he generated more than $200,000 in new business revenue during his first year.
