Jadin Davis enter his first season with the Mustangs for the 2026 season
Davis served as an Assistant Football Coach at Hampden-Sydney College, where he worked primarily with the cornerbacks while also holding responsibilities as Co-Special Teams Coordinator and Co-Recruiting Coordinator. During the 2025 season, he played a key role in developing an Old Dominion Athletic Conference First Team cornerback who also earned Third Team All-Region honors. His defensive contributions helped the program rank among the nation’s top units, finishing 29th in passing yards allowed and 32nd in passing efficiency defense. On special teams, his unit excelled as well, ranking sixth nationally in kickoff return.
Prior to his expanded role, Davis served as the cornerbacks coach at Hampden-Sydney during the 2024 season. In that role, he contributed to defensive game planning, focusing on opponent tendencies in the passing game, while also managing offensive and special teams scout units. His recruiting footprint has spanned key regions including Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, and surrounding areas, helping to identify and attract high-level talent to the program.
Davis began his coaching career at his alma mater, Muhlenberg College, where he quickly gained experience on both sides of the ball. In 2023, he coached cornerbacks and long snappers, helping guide a defense that allowed just 18.2 points per game and ranked among the top 55 nationally in multiple defensive categories, including interceptions, scoring defense, and total defense. He also developed a Centennial Conference Second Team defensive back who led the team in interceptions.
In 2022, Davis worked with the wide receivers at Muhlenberg, coaching an All-Region and First Team All-Conference receiver, as well as a player who went on to compete professionally overseas in Germany. His work helped the offense rank in the top 50 nationally in both receiving yards and total offense. He also assisted with offensive game planning, including scripting plays and analyzing defensive coverages.
Davis got his start in 2021 as a volunteer offensive assistant at Muhlenberg, contributing to a highly successful season that saw the team advance to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight, narrowly falling in overtime to Mount Union. During that season, he helped coach multiple all-conference and All-American wide receivers.
A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Davis earned his degree in History with a minor in Environmental Science in 2021.
