George Coles - Headshot April 2026

George Coles

George Coles enters his first season with the Stevenson University football program as the team’s offensive line coach. In his role, he is responsible for developing the Mustangs’ offensive front, emphasizing technique, physicality, and cohesion in the trenches while contributing to the overall offensive game plan.

Prior to his arrival, he served at the Catholic University of America, where he coached the offensive line and was part of a Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year. During his time there, he helped develop All-Conference offensive linemen and contributed to the program’s offensive success. He also gained valuable experience at Wilkes University, coaching running backs, tight ends, and assisting with the offensive line, while mentoring a First Team All-Landmark running back and a Landmark Rookie of the Year.

Before moving into the collegiate ranks, Coles built his foundation in North Carolina at both the high school and middle school levels, including serving as head coach at West Hoke Middle School and as an offensive line and tight ends coach at Hoke County High School. Across each stop, he has prioritized player development, discipline, and academic accountability.

A graduate of Ferrum College with a degree in Liberal Arts and minors in Education, Psychology, and Sociology, Coles brings a well-rounded, student-athlete focused approach to Stevenson as he begins his first season with the Mustangs.
