Emily “Finn” Finnessy joins the athletic training staff in the fall of 2024.
Finn graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the Women’s Club Soccer team, worked as a physical therapy technician, and served as a sports medicine intern with the university’s football team during summer training.
Finn went on to earn her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in May 2024.
During her graduate studies, she worked with high school athletics, NAIA university athletics, an orthopedic outpatient clinic, USC men’s tennis and golf, USC women’s soccer, and Stevenson’s men’s lacrosse team.
After completing her final clinical immersion as an athletic training student with the Mustangs in the spring of 2024, she is excited to take on this new position as a full-time staff member.
