Connelly returns for her second season on the women's lacrossecoaching staff in 2010 following a stellar playing career as atwo-sport athlete at Stevenson in both field hockey and women'slacrosse.
In four seasons on the women's lacrosse team from 2005-08,Connelly was a four-year starter and team captain, appearing in 59games, the fourth-highest total in school history. She ranks fifthall-time with 141 points, ranking fifth with 42 assists and seventhwith 99 goals.
Connelly also ranks ninth in school history with 39 drawcontrols and led the team in assists as a sophomore and junior.
In field hockey, Connelly appeared in 73 of the team's 75 gameswith 71 starts while totaling 27 points on five goals and 17assists. She was a two-time All-CAC selection and as a senior in2008, received All-CAC and NFHCA All-South Region First Team honorsafter leading the CAC in assists with 11 as Stevenson totaled aschool record 10 wins and advanced to the CAC semifinals.
Connelly graduated in December 2008 with a bachelor of sciencedegree in biology and a 3.94 grade point average. She was named tothe ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 Women'sAt-Large First Team and NFHCA Academic Squadin 2009.
In addition to her work at Stevenson, Connelly also serves as anassistant coach with the field hockey team at her alma mater,Fallston High School, where the Cougars were UCBAC and Maryland 2AState Champions in 2009.
