Sophie Goldberg returns to Stevenson for her second season as goaltending coach in 2025-26, where she will be instrumental in developing the team’s goaltenders.
In Sophie’s first year with the Mustangs, senior goaltender Olivia DeGuire set numerous records, including setting the single game save record for the program with an astonishing 71 saves.
Prior to Stevenson, Sophie was an All American goaltender for Adrian College, where her team saw 4 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. In her time at Adrian, Sophie finished with a 0.81 Goals Against Average, and a .955 Save Percentage, top 5 in the nation in both categories.
Before attending Adrian, Sophie graduated from the Hill School as their all time leader in shutouts, a league champion, and a two time all league selection. The Newtown, PA native is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland.
