Megan (Alexander) Diaz was named an assistant coach on October 16, 2019.
Diaz was a four-year member of the Mustangs, playing alongside Emoff. A two-year alternate captain, Alexander still ranks in the top-10 in seven career categories, including tied for second with seven game-winning goals. She ranks tied for sixth with 53 points, seventh with 22 goals, and tied for fifth with 31 assists. Diaz had the primary assist on the overtime game-winning goal that clinched the Colonial Hockey Conference championship and has the first game-winning goal in program history.
At Stevenson, Diaz served as a PASS Mentor, advising other student-athletes on how to succeed and manage time while helping new student-athletes get acclimated to college. Additionally, she was a part of the SADDLE Leadership Group.
Following her playing career, Diaz served as the co-head coach of the St. Timothy's Catholic High School girls' varsity ice hockey for a year, serving alongside Emoff.
Prior to returning to Stevenson, Diaz was a Lab Scientest I at WET Lab in Nevada.
Diaz graduated from Stevenson in May 2016 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She and her husband, Damian, married in August 2020.
