Stevenson University

John Urdahl joined the Mustangs in 2018, serving as an assistant coach for the track and field programs working with the throws group. 

Prior to Stevenson, Urdahl at Northern High School in Calvert County for 12 years, helping win an indoor state championship and multiple conference championships.  During his time there he led the throws program to three individual state champions, multiple state finalists, multiple regional and conference champions and finalists.  He also led the jumps program in his final two years to conference, regional, and state finalists.  
 
Urdahl graduated from Salisbury University. He competed for the Salisbury track team while there. While there he was apart of four Capital Athletic Conference championship teams.
