Peffall joined the Mustangs coaching staff as an assistant coach in September 2018.
The Mustangs matched a program record with 18 wins during the 2021-22 campaign, which saw a nine game winning streak as part of a truncated end of the season. Ryan Kenny earned UCHC Goaltender of the Year and MAC Defensive Player of the Year awards for the Mustangs, while senior captain Ryan Patrick set the program's all-time points mark before signing with the Peoria Rivermen of the SPHL.
Prior to Stevenson, Peffall served as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Rebels in the NAHL. With the Rebels, Peffall was responsible for on-ice player development, in-game management and all video breakdown. He was also responsible for scouting and recruiting for the organization.
Prior to his time with the Rebels, Peffall spent two seasons as assistant coach with Neumann University. He helped guide the Knights into the top 15 national rankings during both of those seasons. While at Neumann, he worked with the defensemen, video, recruiting and special teams.
Peffall retired from playing the game after the 2013 season where he last signed with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL. While playing in the minor’s, he pursued and completed his education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Gwynedd Mercy University. After graduating, Peffall worked with the Philadelphia Flyers Community Relations department for one season.
Most recently, Peffall has completed his Master’s degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from Neumann University. He was married in June 2018 to his wife, Andrea.
