AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10):  Appeared in 18 games, averaging 8.6 minutes ... totaled 17 points, 21 rebounds, 15 assists and 11 steals ... had four points, two rebounds and a career-high three assists versus Salisbury on Jan. 20, 2010 ... scored a career-high seven points at Marymount (Va.) on Feb. 12, 2010.

AT THOMAS STONE:  Four-year member and two-year letterwinner for the Cougars under head coach Dale Laberth ... team totaled a 23-4 record with two state championship appearances his junior and senior seasons ... was also a member of the football and track and field teams.

PERSONAL:  Full name is Laron xxxxx Knight ... born on December 18, 1991 ... is the son of Leon and Sherry Knight ... has one older sister, Shavon, who was a women's soccer standout at Old Dominion from 2005-08 ... majoring in computer information systems.
