Bors joins Stevenson following three seasons as an assistant coach at Catholic University, bringing with him a proven record of player development, recruiting success, and competitive achievement.
While at Catholic, Bors played a key role in the Cardinals' continued success within the Landmark Conference, overseeing player skill development, opponent scouting, and practice and game planning. Prior to his time at Catholic, Bors spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Ursinus College, helping guide the Bears to the Centennial Conference semifinals. During his tenure, Ursinus notched several statement wins, including a 95–86 road victory over No. 17 Swarthmore and a quarterfinal win over Dickinson.
Bors' coaching experience also includes mentoring multiple standout performers — including two All-Conference selections, one All-District honoree, one Second Team All-Region, and a 1,000-point scorer — while emphasizing culture, accountability, and leadership development within his programs.
Before beginning his coaching career, Bors was a four-year member of the men's basketball team at Bowdoin College. A consistent offensive contributor, he tallied several standout performances, including a 20-point outing versus Colby as a freshman and a 15-point effort in Bowdoin's upset of No. 7 Babson during his junior season. Bors served as team captain during his senior campaign. Bors graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in economics.
