WASHINGTON, N.J. - Ryan Thomas shot an even-par 72 and is tied for seventh after the opening round of The Gauntlet, held at the Hawk Pointe Golf Course. The Mustangs are tied for sixth out of 12 teams with a team score of 304 (+16) — just four strokes behind the leaders (Albright, Drew and Franklin & Marshall).

Christian Trivane is tied for 19th after shooting a 75 (+3). 

Noah Schurman and James Jean-Baptiste carded rounds of 78 and 79 to round out the team score. 

Leo Perez shot an 81. 

The final round will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
