NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Office announced the results of the 2026 MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Poll on Tuesday morning. The Mustangs were selected third in the poll.
Messiah was voted first with 62 points and seven first-place votes. The Spartans of York (Pa.) were selected second with 55 points and one first-place vote, despite falling to Stevenson, 2-1, in overtime in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals last season. The Mustangs were selected third with 46 points and one first-place vote.
Neumann followed in fourth with 45 points after winning the Atlantic East Conference before moving to the Middle Atlantic Conference. Hood followed in fifth with 34 points.
Widener, Alvernia and Eastern followed in sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, with four points separating Widener and Alvernia and two points separating Alvernia and Eastern. Albright rounded out the poll in ninth.
Stevenson men's soccer opens its season on September 1 against Elizabethtown. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
