NEWTOWN, Pa. - Stevenson Women's Golf placed second in the Pre-MAC Championships Poll and will compete in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, at Berkleigh Golf Club to be crowned champions.

York College ranked first on the MAC Pre-Championship poll with 99 votes, collecting nine of the 11 first place votes. The Mustangs finished behind the Spartans with 79 points of their own and one first place vote. 

Hood and Alvernia were voted the third and fourth team with 76 and 70 points, respectively, with the Golden Wolves receiving the final first place vote. They were followed up by Albright, 61 points, and Lebanon Valley, 54 points.

Arcadia and Misericordia placed tied for seventh after both schools received 50 points in the poll prior to this weekend's championships.

Eastern were ranked ninth after only receiving 25 votes and FDU-Florham with 21 points and King's with 20 points rounded out the poll in 10th and 11th.

The two-day MAC Championships start on May 2 at Berkleigh GC running through May 3.
