MAC Pre-Championship Coaches Poll Predicts Women's Track & Field to Finish 13th

NEWTOWN, Pa. (April 23) - The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released its Women's Outdoor Track & Field Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll this week, with Stevenson University earning the No. 13 spot heading into the 2026 MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The Mustangs enter championship weekend ready to build momentum against a deep conference field. Lebanon Valley claimed the top position in the poll, followed by Widener and Misericordia, while DeSales, Messiah, and Stevens rounded out the upper half of the rankings. Stevenson checks in at No. 13, positioned ahead of Delaware Valley, Hood and Albright and poised to make noise as competition begins.

With a balanced lineup and strong individual performances throughout the indoor season, the Mustangs have continued to show growth across sprint, distance, and field events. The group looks to translate that progress into points on the championship stage and climb the standings against the conference's best.

The MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin Thursday, April 30 at 1 p.m., with the second day of competition set for Friday, May 1 at 9:15 a.m., and a champion team crowded on Saturday, May 2 with a start time for the day at 11 am.  All three days of the meet will be hosted by Messiah.
