GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Stevenson men's track and field team turned in multiple impressive performances - including a new school record - and took fifth place out of 25 schools (52 points) at the Messiah Spring Invitational.
Fabrice Saint Hillien took second in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 48.77 (5th in Mid-Atlantic region).
Frank McCann placed third with a PR of 49.05 (10th in region). McCann would also set a personal record in the 200 where he ran a 22.07 and placed fourth overall.
Saint Hillien would also help the 4x400 relay team of
Alexander Reimert,
Malachi Griffin and
Braxton Jones take first overall with a season-best 3:22.40 (6th in region).
Talon Romance took second place and set a new school record in the javelin with a top toss of 60.23m - 2nd best in the region.
In the 4x100,
Isaiah Dunn,
Zion Stokes,
Braxton Jones and Griffin took third with a combined time of 42.99 - .17 seconds off of their season best.
Aidan Petraglia clocked a 10:24.61 in the 3000 steeplechase, where he placed sixth. Petraglia, along with
Josh Harris,
Jay Crawley and
Sam Kleiner took third in the 4x800 with a season-best time of 8:20.88.
Isaiah Dunn clocked a personal best in the 100 (11.35) and 200 (22.71).
Reimert clocked a 59.65 in the 400m hurdles.
Parker Weigel placed 10th in the pole vault with a top height of 3.88m, while
Zachary Moore placed 11th in the triple jump with a top distance of 12.23m.
Stevenson will compete next when they host the Mustang Stampede Invitational (Senior Day) on Friday, April 17.
